ในบทความตอนที่ 1 ได้ทิ้งท้ายไว้ว่า บรรณารักษ์ต้องเป็นผู้สนับสนุนใน 3 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ การแจ้งงานวิจัยล่าสุด การสนับสนุนการทดลองด้วยการวัดแบบ altmetrics และการให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับ altmetrics

ดังนั้น บรรณารักษ์จึงต้อง:
